High performance batteriesReview date: 2010-09-04 Rating: 10 out of 10I bought these batteries (8 of them, as I was expecting to have to have 4 on charge all the time) before a two week holiday in Spain and France. Well I could have saved myself the expense and weight of most of them! A single set of batteries held their charge for the whole time, during which I took over 100 excellent photos, achieved by lots of use of the SLR zoom, which usually drains batteries within a day! I have wasted lots of money on other expensive rechargeables, and so I will never buy another brand other than Uniross again.

A very reliable batteryReview date: 2010-09-02 Rating: 10 out of 10I've found these to be some of the best NiMH rechargable batteries. They last longer than most before they need recharging, and seem to survive extended periods sitting on the shelf pretty well. I've tried other brands in the past, but the Uniross ones in general seem to be the most reliable and trouble free. The charger you use is important, though. I'd advise against using very fast chargers with any NiMH batteries, as these can seriously reduce the life and performance of the battery. I use the Uniross Smart Charger + 4 x AA 2700mAh Performance Batteries with these batteries. It charges them in about 4.5 hours, which is a good compromise between how long you have to wait and how much strain it puts on the batteries due to the charging speed.Excellent productReview date: 2010-08-31 Rating: 10 out of 10I have been using Uniross 2700 mAh rechargeables in my Olympus camera and the kids use them in their Wii remotes, both of which flatten heavy duty alkali batteries in no time. I have been extremely pleased with the performance of the batteries. A week's holiday snapping away with the camera and no recharge needed. I carry a charged spare set but never needed to change them and they seem to do pretty well in the Wii as well. I am not using a fast charger and although they take quite a while to charge and get warm, I have not had any problems. I can't speak for them being slightly larger diameter than usual. They fit in my cameral and in the Wii remotes without any problems. They are excellent. The lasted much longer than the Durecell+ AA batteries I normally use.
