powerful little applianceReview date: 2010-08-27 Rating: 10 out of 10Yes, this is a little heavier than a lot of hand-held vacuums BUT the powerful suction and rotating brush more than make up for the extra weight...my Dyson tools also fit the extension which is a huge plus... I was going to buy a Dyson rotating brush (which would have probably only fit the Dyson product) and I would have had to lug the even heavier Dyson machine out in order to use it! No regrets is buying this product.

The cable is so long I can plug it in in the middle floor and go upstairs and downstairs with it. Its so powerful it picks up everything. I really couldnt fault this. Its easy to empty, its easy to work, its a little heavy but far lighter than my Dyson and its just so well designed. The tool is easy to get out and use and its the perfect shape to hoover my stairs.

Product: some reviews say the product is heavy. Well...it isn't heavy. I was actually surprised by how light the whole package was when it was delivered. I was getting worried they forgot to put the vacuum cleaner in it.
Power: it is powerful and it does pick up dirt from carpets that look clean.

I bought it primarly for use in our caravan but since purchasing it we have been using it at home and I think I might have to buy a second one !! We live in a house with 3 floors, so thats lots of stairs and we have 2 pussies, so thats lots of hairs !! When we got the Electrolux I had just vacuumed the stairs with our Dyson 2 days earlier and I was gobsmacked what the Electrolux picked up !! It is so much easier to use on the stairs than the Dyson and I would not say that was difficult but it made vacuuming quicker and I'm all for that. When I had finished using it I emptied the bin bit just by tapping it against the wheelie bin outside and I used a dustpan brush on the filter bit which had attracted the hairs, it really was quite easy. All I can say is I am very pleased with it, it's well worth the money and after my holidays I'll be back for another one.
