Read the InstructionsReview date: 2010-05-09 Rating: 6 out of 10I got this after leaving my old multimeter in the rain. I do not plan to try it, but this looks like it might stand mistreatment better.
It is not as easy to use as my old one; there are three inputs and you have to choose the correct two according to the power you are measuring. There are no red/ black markings at all.
I have had it 3 weeks; I am slowly getting used to it and I think it will work out fine though I would hate to lose the instructions after I had not used it for a while.

This was my first multimeter. It's well featured and well priced but, like another reviewer said, loose bits and pieces inside ! Unbelievable.
I opened mine up to try and remove whatever was loose inside (thus invalidating my warranty) and they were either ball-bearings or little sphere of loose solder !
Anyway, i couldn't get to them because i would have had to remove breadboard.
Now, 7 months later, it has died. I have changed the fuse, no good.
DONT BUY THIS METER !

continuity buzzer is a bit quiet and the backlight is quite dull but otherwise a very good product!ArchieReview date: 2010-03-12 Rating: 10 out of 10I have bought this meter for domestic & motor repair use and I have found it very handy as it is small and rebust it will take a knock or two and if it drops I don't think it will come to any harm as it has a rubber cover over it the display is very clear and easy to read the battery is a pain to get in but when it's in thats it for who knows so don't let this put you off this in my opinion a very good piece of kit i would recommend itPoor quality productReview date: 2010-01-05 Rating: 2 out of 10I've just returned 2 of these, each had loose internal cables on delivery, this is a poor quality product. I've now bought a UNI-T meter elsewhere, it did cost £20 but it is a high quality product and makes you realize just how poor the Draper is in comparison - there are cheaper UNI-T meters which are also of the same high quality.
