The 1122 is technically a first rate machine, but it has no wheels. This is not clear from the pictures provided by Karcher or Amazon. It looks as if there might be four small wheels. This should be made clear to buyers. I assumed that it had wheels and I now regret the purchase. Others Karcher models do have wheels.

Filler Cap ProblemReview date: 2010-08-07 Rating: 6 out of 10I've just recently bought the Karcher SC1122 and am very pleased with the initial results. The problem I have is with the filler cap in that it will just not unlock. I've left the system for over 24 hours and in that time it should have cooled down enough and I've released all the pressure.I realise that it is an important safety feature but should the cap just twist off after it has cooled down or do I need to press the cap down and then twist it?It did wonders for our moth infestationReview date: 2010-07-18 Rating: 10 out of 10We moved house, and found that moths were everywhere eating holes in the wool carpets. We got a steamer and treated the carpets and skirting boards. Well made with safety features which were not present on a cheaper steam cleaner I had in the past. It's a good idea to fill with warm water to save time waiting for the pressure to build up. If I had to find a fault it's that only one flat cloth and one shaped are included; I do think that one or two extra cloths could be included with the steamer as spare cloth packs seem to be rather expensive.uselessReview date: 2010-07-03 Rating: 4 out of 10I ordered the karcher to clean carpet and upholstery, bathroom and kitchen tiles and get rid of mold on tiles and window blinds.
I didn't manage to properly clean any of these. All that the steam cleaner seems to do is make things steamy and (very) wet. I don't see how this makes things cleaner than normal cleaning product. Getting rid of limescale is much easier with a bit of cream cleaner and it is also much better for your electricity bill.
Also annoying that you can't see how much water in in the resevoir.
